He\u0026rsquo;s been doing DevOps and PE pipelining and architectural solutions since 2022.\nBut his love affair with technology started long before, just back after being a toddler, as he was experimenting with a computer with Windows 3.1, back in the old days of computing.\nIn 2008, as a curiosity-driven teenager, he started up his machine with a CD with a Linux ISO burnt in it and he fell in love with it and the different Unix systems, as he got a Mac in 2010. Since then, he has explored almost all Linux distributions out in the wild, and learnt that in IT, curiosity is key.\nHe did a professional degree of system administration and networking management at IES Ingeniero de la Cierva in a dual language mode. Also he started the Computer Science degree at University of Murcia, but later on he stepped aside, leaving it in an hiatus.\nHe is currently learning more about AI, and how to integrate them into pipelines.\nTimeline # Volkswagen Digital:Hub 2025-current In his current project he designed and provisioned cloud infrastructure on AWS using CloudFormation and CDK, with a focus on Elastic Container Service (ECS) architectures. Also he built and optimized CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions, improving automation coverage and deployment reliability. And he bootstrapped new environments from scratch, encompassing infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment pipeline setup. Indra 2024-2025 One cannot simply say anything good of this company... The Whiteam 2024 In the Mercedes-Benz project, Carlos learnt that simplicity is key. Hard dependencies of external packages would be an issue, thus you could choose either to marry your provider or stick with the bare operating system toolset. The latter was chosen and here, shell scripting was mastered like a smooth magic trick. Orenes Grupo S.L 2022-2024 He learnt quite lots of stuff about Kubernetes here. Networking and monitoring within container orchestration systems stopped to be a mystery for him. Using Windows Server alongside Linux for Kubernetes clusters was quite of a hot topic back in the days. Various previous experiences until 2022 Some companies like Capgemini, freelancing, etc... where prior experiences before DevOps methodologies were achieved. Computer Science degree 2017 - 2021... University of Murcia He learnt so much there and grew up as a person there. System Administration and Networking Management 2015-2017 IES Ingeniero de la Cierva He deeply learnt about Linux, networking, security, hardening, other operating systems' deployments, distributed systems, and the likes. Highly recommended if you're keen on sysadmin stuff.
